Public Meeting Scheduled to Discuss Water System Consolidation
Avoca, AR — Benton County Water District #1 will hold a public meeting on February 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Lower Meeting Room at 12477 Lodge Drive to discuss the proposed consolidation of the Lost Bridge Village and City of Garfield water systems under Benton County Water District #1.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a brief overview of the consolidation process and allow the public the opportunity to ask questions or provide comments. A summary of the consolidation will be presented based on documents provided by the District’s attorney. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to speak, with comments limited to three (3) minutes per person.
The District encourages all customers and community members to attend, learn more about the process, and provide feedback.
